Opening ceremonies, Our VIP Event and the Feature Game will be held on Wednesday, July 28! Come out and enjoy the finest U16 baseball in the country. Don’t miss your chance to see the stars of the future as they compete to become the next Mickey Mantle World Series Champions.

Commencing the ceremonies will be a parade featuring: Master of Ceremonies, Neil O'Leary, Tony Santoro and Ray Brown.

Everyone is welcome to attend this FREE, fun-filled event featuring fireworks by Pyrotecnico after the feature game. Don't worry, you won't leave hungry – delicious food from Waterbury Pal will be available for purchase!

Players & Coaches Reception


MMWS is holding a Player and Coaches Reception on Tuesday, July 27th at Municipal Stadium. This year's guest speaker is to be announced.

A Manager's Meeting will take place and there will be a home run derby presented by The Hit Club. Players will be able to show off their skills in a head-to-head home run battle. More details to follow!

The reception is OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Hope to see you there!
